October 2008 – ENGLISH CLASSES EXPAND HORIZONS FOR YOUTH LEADERS
Thanks to those of you who have expressed the value you place on education through your donations, we are blessed to be able to provide tuition and round-trip transportation to Port-au-Prince three times per week for these deserving, avid learners so that they can attend this prestigious school.
Ronald is our in-country coordinator/liaison between our ministry and those we serve in Haiti so his English proficiency will greatly enhance communications between our office here in the U.S. and our project sites in Haiti.
Darley and Ricot are both high school graduates. Darley also has the distinction of possessing a BS degree in business administration and international studies. Both of these men are instrumental in us “getting things done” in Haiti. Following their graduation from the English Institute, they will be better equipped to help us with our upcoming projects and will be also be assisting the residents in our girls’ home and other youth in Leogane to increase their English skills.
As always, God provided for this course of study and He will most certainly assure that it yields much fruit!! Following are letters we received from each of these fine, young men expressing their gratitude for your generosity in offering this amazing opportunity.
Thank you SO much for making this possible!
