Life before Christian Girls Home: (in her own words)
Generally before I come to the girls’ home I had a difficult life. Mother passed away when I was 20 years old. From then until the home opened, I got through a lot of bad experiences; I can’t go to school, I suffer from hunger, my clothes are shabby and I have bare feet -- no hope.

Favorite Bible verse: Psalm 94:17
Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.

Life in the Christian Girls Home: (in her own words)
The girls’ home changed my whole life; now I live with hope.  The girls’ home provides everyday education with discipline, good food, 3 good meals a day plus snack, good clothes, and learning to behave.  I did not have a Bible before, now I have one that was donated by Promised Provision Ministries.  Daily Prayer meeting and bible study.

FaFane stepped into a leadership role without being asked.  She is one of the first to help clean, cook and keep the house in order.  She is a wonderful teacher; continuously reinforcing us to use both Creole & French along with our English.
